Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our hotel. The Assistant General Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service and addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve performance goals and uphold Hilton brand standards.
  • Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure operational efficiency and consistency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards are met.
  • Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue and occupancy.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and Hilton policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record in managing hotel operations and delivering high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of local market and hospitality industry trends a plus.
